From the snippets, it sounds nice--almost like a dirty little beat tape. But a lot of reviews make it sound like the songs just drone on and on with no variation.

Will do. I mean, I love Splazsh, but it's always interesting to hear early stuff from talented people. Usually it turns out they're more talented then you thought they were. The same way the artist that paints a blue square on a green background started off doing photorealistic charcoals or something.
