their plan of "a song a week" and we got ... one song. That doesn't average out at all. Haha. Tired of them talking. If they just want to tour for the rest of their careers I'm fine with that, their catalogue is complete and amazing as is. But don't keep giving us this false hope, that's way worse.

What do De La Soul get out of lying to people that they are going to release a mixtape-album and two upcoming albums?
I know they will probably take their sweet time with the albums but like Dove said the mixtape-album will consist of reworked songs so that shouldn't take long to do.

forgot or choose to ignore the "De La Soul to drop new song every week up til new album drops!" announcement from like a year or two ago. Can you post all the songs from since that announcement? It's pretty easy to do. There's only one. And still no album.
I'm not saying they're purposely lying but very few of the albums they've promised us in the last 10 years (in fact, zero of them) have come to fruition so why should this announcement strike me or anyone as any different? And more importantly, why don't they just stop feeding us this BS until they're actually reasonably close to dropping an album?? That's the worst part.

7 years after his famous battle with Kanye and 4 years after that same Kanye brought this idea to the forefront prior to releasing MBDTF. How out of touch is THAT guy?

>Where is the third Art Official Intelligence Album?
That album was recorded and everything and then they got dropped from Tommy Boy Records, afterwards they was going to release it themselves but I heard the budget for that album had to be paid back to Tommy Boy first before they could release it on their own, so they shelved it.
A lot of people don't know but there was a mixtape that was suppose to come out a year after they A.O.I. was released, it was put out on Sequence Records but that got shelved too.
>What was that promise they made a few years ago about release >all sorts of mixtapes?
Well I do remember that but you all do remember that album that came out last year "First Serve" with those two french producers.
