Just like my "95 for 95" and "96 for 96" mixes...I did one for 94. It has the most Boom Bap/East Coast on it for sure...Jeru, Digable Planets, Tribe, Nas, Keith Murray, and all of that. But I still have a good amount of R&B...the last 15 minutes is all slow jams.
If there's not at least one song on here that you haven't heard since 94-95, I feel that I have failed you but serious, I threw a couple of "damn, I forgot about this!" type tracks on here as well.
I eventually want to have one for every year from the 90's, basically to serve as an audio library that's different from the usual "Top 100 Billboard hits" for each year...I always want to throw in some Regional tracks and forgotten about ones on these.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
This joint damn near put tears in my eyes man!!!! Amazing sequence of songs and song variety. This brought me back to my freshman year of high school. 94 was definitely a monumental year for music.

isn't a DJ, though? The fact that songs can REALLY hit you, because it's tracks you probably haven't heard in 20 years. For DJ's, at least the ones like me....we hear this songs and know them so much, that it rarely hits us the same way!
