"When podcasts collide: Cipha Sounds on Combat Jack"

I'm halfway through it and if you listen to Juan Ep you've heard most of it already (moving from BX to LI, not fucking groupies, getting into stand up comedy), but Juan started off strong with the 5 % tip. It's wild how nowadays nobody knows anything about em when back in the day they were everywhere through hip hop, and their lingo became standard hip hop talk.

The other point was touring with junior mafia and how much they loved Pac. "Yo but he just dissed your man!" and Lil Cease like "his music is hot" straight up I could see the mafia bumping hit em up talkin about "that's the greatest diss record ever!"

Good shit, thank god & earth rosenberg wasn't invited.

Fantastic interview.

Ciph is such an interesting dude. I wish he'd talk more on his own show.

That turned out to be an interesting chat. I too wish Cipha would talk more.
Sometimes It's like he is the lil brother and Rosenberg and Ebro just dominate
the mic. I can see how it might be hard to a word in between those two.
But did you ever catch that video of Cipha catching feelings w/ Khaled?
So hard to watch..

Crazy. I didn't believe Khaled for a second. He wouldn't look Ciph in the eye.

I thought it could've ended after they figured out they had old contact numbers. The rest of the argument is dumb.

His stories about Pun and Junior Mafia were funny/ridiculous

it's cool that he's not ashamed that his favorite stuff was the backpack rawkus stuff circa 97-00

the no drinking or drugs in Hip Hop is like some sort of anomaly no? much props for that

i'm def gunna catch his comedy troupe in LA soon
