WOW the Kings of sleepy time Neo soul go ahead&take a bow! usually when you have a Greatest Hits set you actually have some Hits. this is like opening up the Cracker Jack Box&finding that you don't have no price. now while you can respect the food,you want the Prize. this Act ain't never brought no Prize. all they have is the shameless self-Promoting Afro all over everywhere except in the studio making some hits.great to be a almost 20 year act&have Zero Memorable songs.Congradulations!!!! this Band is the Paris Hilton of Music:Famous for Being Famous without actually being Famous.

I've been reading Mistermaxxx's reviews on Amazon for mad years even before he became a posting celeb on here...jive turkey.
I will agree though, he has some good reviews sometimes he's a bit harsh on some artists but sometimes he just writes just for spite but it's good for a good laugh.
Oh he's also had over 18,000 reviews a few years back but I think a lot his reviews got deleted cause of his comical but harsh statements about some artist's music.

to read, and worth being posted again in case people haven't checked it out. Seeing one of OKP's strongest personalities somewhere else online, with that much material, over that long of a time period, in the exact same voice he uses here, confirming that it isn't an alias or anything but really him, is a valid thing to post about.
The OP didn't come with any snark or anything, he's just posting it for people to read. I'm a mistermaxxx fan, and I had forgotten about these reviews. Classic material on there lol...

It was in the context of yet another stupid argument I had with him - can't even remember who the artist was, but somebody he was bagging on. I was on Amazon looking at their albums and lo and behold, a maxxx review where he was talking about how great and underrated that artist was. Had a good laugh about that. He took it very personally when I called him out on it.
maxxx is a weird guy. I enjoyed reading (and sometimes participating in) his enormous body of work, though sometimes he would drive me crazy too. Unfortunately I think he was a player in this forum's downfall. Hard to quantify that exactly. It would have slowed down anyway, but for far too much of the time, the board was dominated by those dumbass "so-and-so >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> other so-and-so" threads and his other agenda-driven stuff, and I really think it chased some people away. maxxx could be cool to talk to, when he was in the right mood. But sometimes he'd go off the deep end and take the whole forum with him, for weeks or even months on end.
