>The whole thing is stomach-turning.
Zimmerman's effectively made a joke out of this whole ordeal, why would you be a sucker and participate in that? Zimmerman is going to get a check no matter what. Plus either Zimmerman will get his ass beat which will diminish some of the anger that the general populace shows towards him, or he will win the fight and become some sort of street justice champion.

If the Martin family reached out to DMX and requested he not take part....do you think that might change his mind? Not sure if it's true...but I read somewhere that the fight is purposely scheduled on Trayvon's bday. Someone needs to say something profound and articulate about this in a public forum. A song, a speech, a blog.....something. I understand that people can be incredibly insensitive, opportunistic and greedy...but we NEED someone to SHAME this whole debacle and call it like it is. And all the people that organize, profit or simply subscribe to this disgusting event should be publically shamed for their own implicit involvement too.

He was steady going on about the fight between the devil and God for his soul and praying on stage and whatnot. In light of that, it's like homie been lettin' the devil win for a good minute, so ionno if this is true to his albums or a contradiction of them.
Either way, I still the like the songs of his that I like just the same. *shrugs*

Forget that he's one of the most menacing and aggresive characters hip hop has ever known... and remind yourself that this is a man that is in his mid 40s and has been abusing his body with crack cocaine for all of his adult life.
So theres that... Then you couple that with an overweight 30-something year old that has been actively training over the past year to lose weight.
And suddenly you have a scenario where a bizarro world outcome makes the most sense. Jesus wept...

but it does tarnish him as a personality. i can still listen to dmx's music and i still like as much as i did 10-15 years ago, but he's a joke as a person, tho he's been a joke for some time now.

13. "Seems Like An Episode Of "Sick Sad World" Or "Celeberity Death Match"" In response to Reply # 0 Fri Feb-07-14 10:57 AM by Dj Joey Joe
Have you ever watched an episode of "Daria", if so then you know what I'm talking about.
"Sick Sad World" was a tv show that always came on as a commercial during each episode of "Daria" in which each episode had a weird and hilarious twisted themes; better yet this actually could have been a episode of "Celebrity Death Match" for sure, and DMX vs. G.Zimmerman sound like one for sure.
I was listening to Ricky Smiley's talk show yesterday morning and they reported that DMX & his people have not signed any paperwork yet and the information about him fighting George was leaked out by Zimmerman's publicity team; but if this fight is true, I hope DMX destroys George's body & leave him with broken bones.
