pop-edm as in the music that has been popular on billboard for the last, 5 years and will probably continue being as popular for another 50 due to how square today's people and society are.
-stabs with techno presets -kicks on every 4 -120 bpm
is there anyway to really get this wrong?
is there an example of anybody, professional or amateur, making this type of music the wrong way? with so much emphasize on objective practicality, is there any way for "musicians" to be "better" or "worse" than one another at this type of music?

hurt R&B big time, not the lack of music programs in schools, like a lot of people claim.
I agree and have been saying that almost nothing sounds bad on a synthesizer in terms of tone. With acoustic instruments it takes a lot of work to learn how produce a good tone. That, in turn, leads to a heightened sense for good melody, and probably positively affects rhythm, too. Which leads to overall better music.
