I mean I've been familiar since Dilated was opening for Kweli off the Work The Angles 12" & that still is their best song to me.

The solo cut with the skeleton hoodie was solid but when & where did the 'great' bit come in because I must have missed it.

"Worst Comes to Worst"
"Live on Stage"
"Right & Exact"
"Soundbombimg"
"Behold My Life"
"e=MC2"
"the Platfom"
"Back again"
"Liner Notes"
"it Wasn't Me"
"Same Folks"
"Calmly Smoke"
"Recognize"
"Heavy Lighting"
"From Whom the Bells Tolls"
"to Be Determined"
"Far Left"
"So Fresh"
"Gold Chain Music"
"Chase the Clouds"
"Born in LA"

And that's just taking a quick look at my Itunes. And it ended up in me playing mad joints. I'm a big Dilated fan though that loves classic regular sounding hip hop.

Those were joints he just rapped on too. I could've dipped into his production as well.

a few of those on the list are cool tho.

Thanks for the effort, Dilated never really moved me much even though I really wanted to like them in their early years, so we can agree to disagree.

I have a bunch of Bronson songs I'd rather hear than most if not all of those.

Also generally not a big fan of Evidence and can take/leave Alc rhyming for the most part.

All thatt being said, this joint kinda goes.

Am I tripping or do those drums sound like they were chopped off this Bill Ward Black Sabbath drum break https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HakEuB6uDmA ?

I've always thought someone should use those.

If so, I could see that.

My personal favorite might be Heel Toe, which should have been on Saab Stories (I did like that EP a lot anyway....Rockers, Alligator, No Time) if Steve Perry & them weren't trippin.

Also a big fan of Marvelous with Eddie B off him & Fraud's Horsepower EP.

Overall I think if I culled together all his work with La Musica, it'd beat out what he's done elsewhere.

Ray Lewis with Mayhem Lauren goes hard too but I don't know who did that one.

Never fucked with Action Bronson - those intro ad-libs sound like Ghost too, so quit saying it's just the voice.

Evidence is alright, I guess.

Nice beat.

his beats & who he's rapping alongside, although it's far easier to outshine Evidence than Prodigy.

It's workmanlike & sounds solid on his own beats but I have no Alc verse that comes close to staying in my memory.

Weatherman LP and Cats & Dogs are outstanding albums to me. I don't think he's really a super lyrical MC that will wow you in that way, but for some reason I really dig him. He knows how to pick beats too, which helps.

I thought it was solid. Digging the velvet packaging too.
