I appreciate how critical he is in an age where so many aren't. He's a nice alternative to pitchfork and if he reviews and album I have an opinion on, I'll watch.

but still really enjoy his take on albums.

i definitely get the idea that he actually sits and digests the albums he's reviewing. can't say the same for other critics.

but when he first started out..he was waaay more genuine..as he's achieved more exposure and notoriety he's somewhat sacrificed his integrity and eased his grading standards

his personality than actually reviewing the music.

If I want good, honest hip hop reviews, I check out Hiphopsite.

Anthony's stuff is entertaining, but I don't find the reviews worthwhile.
