(a) no dough to collect vinyl, and never saw the cover in real life, but always tried to read the writing; what is it saying? i'm usually really good at making out small writing, but it's illegible like a mofo. So far i made out "Life like most precious gifts gives us the responsibility of upkeep. We are given the responsibility of arranging our ___?___ to list sth sth......" Been trying to find online liner notes that types it out.
(b) has there been a Bill Withers appreciation thread that goes in depth about his catalogue and technique? If not, damnit let's start.
Sigh, Bill Withers is the balm to my wounds. He is my uncle from another time.

"Life like most precious gifts gives us the responsibility of upkeep. We are given the responsibility of arranging our own spaces to best benefit our survival. We have the choice of believing or not believing in things like God, friendship, marriage, love, lust or any number of simple but complicated things. We will make some mistakes both in judgement and in fact. We will help some situations and hurt some situations. We will help some people and hurt some people and be left to live with it either way. We must then make some adjustments, or as the old people back home would call them, + 'JUSTMENTS."
