He started to study music theory around the time he was done with Deltron 3030 if memory serves me right. It was around this time he started to fall off HARD imo. And I am saying that as someone that was a huge Del fan.
For a good somewhat recent Del project, check out Attractive Sin. It's him backed by beats from Parallel Thought. It's pretty solid material IMO.

I can't ride for the industrial sounding beats ALONG with the off kilter flows. Same reason I couldn't get into Deltron 3030.
I always felt that Del had a nice flow and his lyrical display on tracks like Catch A Bad One, Made In America and You Never Knew and some of their Wake Up Show freestyles made me think that he could actually be considered force to be reckoned with.
Him, along with Tame One (which made it even more ironic when they formed a group) and Cage are three of the greatest examples of drugs destroying a potentially exemplary career.
Come to grips with the fact that most OKP's are of the Nut Hugger lineage, so, if you' re not part of the little cliques that exist 'round here, your posts will probably tank like Souljaboy's album sales.
