""Me and :insert other rapper: bout to make an album" - NEVER HAPPENED" Mon Dec-16-13 08:24 PM by jswerve386
What are some great fake collabo's throughout the years where rappers swear up and down they had an album in the works together that never comes to fruition. Looking for 99 through current.
Ill start it off with something recent..
Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole. - Those two buckethead niggas aint never puttin out shit together.

My favorite is/was New Money. They were supposed to have Bubba Sparxxx, Sean Paul from the Youngbloodz, Rich Boy, Polow da Don, and G-Rock from DF. They did get one song deep on a remix.

there was also the Black Thought Danger Mouse around the same titme. There is also one radio freestyle where like Com, Mos, Kweli and Black thought mention something about doing and album together aroudn soulquarian times, but it never happened.

... I remember seeing the Roots live at a festival 2 years ago. Questo was on his bed rest stint at the time, and I was hoping to bump in to Mr. Trotter to ask him when that was going to be released or atleast find out where they were with it.

... atleast in mixtape form. I'm sure Santana would have loved for it to drop to boost himself as an artist since Def Jam ain't showed him some love in a minute.
