in probably over a decade. that's not to say it's all he has done that's different from his usual (and now stale, imo) sample stabs, it's just the first thing i've heard.
dope, though i do wish there was a bit more variation. it gets kind of repetitive and doesn't go anywhere ultimately.

it sounds like you're listening for what you want to hear instead of what is actually happening it's the little things that move the music along that he adds, not some flourish that's obvious to your ear he's always been a master at using space and silence in his music to great effect, there's an art to that and it isn't easy

can still be sparse, use space, and be more than a glorified 8 bar loop. no one is in here saying it's wack, at least i'm not. i'm saying it is repetitive and not very adventurous.
