It's been at least a few years since I listened to any Dangermouse project

I liked all the stuff I put in the poll, but I remember LOVING the Broken Bells album front to back. This post was inspired by seeing a new Broken Bells album is coming out in January. I'm gonna relisten to some of this stuff and see if I still like it

but apparently he produced ASAP Rocky's "Phoenix" (haven't heard it)

For the most part it looks like he's played the role of a traditional "producer" (as opposed to beatmaker) on various "indie" albums for the past 7 years

Looking at his wikipedia just reminded me of the 2 songs he did with Murs, "To A Black Boy" and "Paint By Numbers" - both were GREAT, especially the former.

That is wild. I loved Dangerdoom. Knew he was expanding outside rap a bit but didn't think he would or did abandon it altogether. Too bad.

one projec from his i go back to every now and then is The Good The Bad & The Queen, but more a sum of its parts than Dangermouse. And I think that about sums it up.
