It's not straight-ahead Hip Hop, but surely no one expected that from an Eminem and Rihanna song.
I think it has some bite and isn't some tired carbon copy of the current scene. I'm surprised that it sounds good to me. I haven't given the thumbs up to an Eminem single in probably over a decade.

He's rapping about OCD and bipolar issues. Noone can do it better cause kids can really hear what he says. Whatever he tries to write he writes. A true gift for everyone to know real writing.
While impressive technically, Eminem has seemingly completely lost the ability to flow to his songs to make them work. He's just trying to wow with Bone Thugz speed and multi-syllabic rhyme schemes at this point, which is cool when done on the right beat but he does it every single song he's on at this point. There's no song structure at all.
