Cube been decent to good to wack since '97... this is cool, not great, but not wack really. Just nowhere near his best. He's just been very basic with his rap style for a while now. His motivation to evolve has stalled and now he just boils it down to the basic flow he uses and keeps decent to (at times very) compelling lyrics.

Those were the last good Cube albums. I Am The West was weak and this one doesn't sound too promising from what I've heard but I'll still give it a chance.

when I saw him in concert over the summer. Iono, I think he did his verse from "Straight Outta Compton." Oh, and a verse from "Gangsta Gangsta." Otherwise, it was all "Bow Down" and "We Be Clubbin" type shit. It was extremely disappointing.

his verse from Straight Outta Compton was the only thing i remember him doing pre-1992. don't remember him doing anything off Death Certificate or Amerikkka'z Most or Kill At Will. I remember him doing You Know How We Do It, Check Yourself, Natural Born Killaz, It Was a Good Day, and Bop Gun. Maybe We Be Clubbin or You Can Do It, or both, and a few Westwide Connection cuts. Mostly 92-99 stuff
That was disappointing, because LL and PE and De La did mostly their older stuff. That was what the crowd came to see.

I don't know what caused such a dramatic drop off for Cube - I'll still check out Everythangs Corrupt when it drops but he won't catch me off guard if it turns out to be 80 minutes of garbage.
