And I think it's a good example of what made Dilla such an interesting producer to follow closely: he has so many little beats that are all so weird and different but at the same time are fleeting--if you don't catch it, you'll miss it. I picture this beat as like a medieval castle theme song... or something lol. Anyway, point being, you get these images in your head from his beats even though they may not be bangers or whatever. This is a perfect example of where you might end up if you look in all the places his mind went, and how curious zooming in on one idea can be.
