I posted about his 'The Beat Down' record Moodymann released at the top of the year, along with the Dilla record Moody did and it went wood. Has anyone purchased this fantastic record? The entire record is heat. It was so tough to find here in the States that I had to buy it from the UK, even though it's from Detroit. Record store sales made it go to number 1 in the UK for a couple of weeks.

The illest beat I ever heard this man do was flip "Pack of Lies" (the guitar intro to Snoop's "Who Am I"). All these years and no one ever thought to fuck with it but Speed.

Why is this nigga not getting enough placements? He's with Sha Money, helped put Danny Brown and eLZhi on, did the "Home Sweet Home" beat that many people raved over. I've been following him since maybe 2003. If you're into his work, put me up on something I may have missed.
