he's always produced my favorite songs on the lp's that had other producers.
sticking with cage, on MFTB, escape to 88 and the soundtrack were the warmest, most amped up shits on there. PMW, suicidal failure, ck one, etc. loved them all. on weatherproof, i fuckin loved fresh out the morgue--drunk ass rhythm, great sample.
also, i just came across the video for b-boy document 99. that shit was hard! makes me kinda sad what constitutes radio rap nowadays.

I loved that about that album.
But shit, I've been saying
"they suck your dick, even tho they really hate you" "I took a dump last nite now I'm on some next shit" "Club you in your fur lemme club you in your fur" "I'm cursed I tell I I'm cursed!"
all week.
Maybe cuz I'm having a shitty week at work and this LP has been my best friend.
DFM had an interesting tension with the dark lyrics but bright and catchy (but still dark) production.
KTA is all dark to me. And I'm in the perfect mood for it.
it's a mood album to me. the dark beats match the lyrics. kudos to mighty mi. i love cage's laid back delivery too--just like ka and roc marciano. shit just sounds more sinister like that.
precipiss goes HARD. so does in your fur, road kill, and merry mythras.
the hunt and this lp version of this place are really beautiful.
i like the way cursed seems to change time signatures.
my dog is dead, ., you were the shit, etc...all dope.
i can't really say how it ranks with respect to the other lp's in cage's catalogue cuz every album is so different. in a good way. still blows my mind that these are the same guys that did the smut peddlers lp and MFTB.

Only really dug "You Were the Shit in High School," the title track/bonus track, and like one other (can't even remember it's name). I'm one of the guys that likes Mighty Mi production, but this isn't really doing anything for me.
