... I dug the delivery but the vocals seemed low on the mix. You sound like Danny Brown meets Pharoah Monch.

Only, as QBoogie said, some of your vocals are hard to decipher when the beat gets a little frenetic. Maybe you might want to lowpass the beat a little bit just to help your vocal shine through.

But, lyrically, GREAT JOB!

Come to grips with the fact that most OKP's are of the Nut Hugger lineage, so, if you' re not part of the little cliques that exist 'round here, your posts will probably tank like Souljaboy's album sales.

Mastering is a totally different thing than the slight mixing task you'd have to undertake to make your vocals shine through. I've noticed that nowadays a lot of folks use the word mastering quite loosely and claim to be mastering engineers when that is not the case. Mastering is normally only done for commercial releases and usually involves using VERY expensive gear that most of those claiming expertise in that area have never seen. But, as is always the case, cats will ALWAYS try to benefit from the ignorance of others.

It's kind of similar to how cats went from being artist managers to being CEOs of their management companies just because it made them sound more important.

Sorry for the tangent.
