"Poll question: more influential Bobby Brown or Usher?"

and we all can vote and say who we feel is better, however strictly on infleunce whom comes to mind to you and why?

i hear more cats from the past 15 years saying Usher's name and I wonder if its because of Bobby's personal situations as to his drop as a artist?

because a whole era and generation sees Usher and a certain age of folks truly remember Bobby Brown in his Prime and His Peak.

for instance when you see Bieber, Ne Yo, Omarion, Chris Brown of the two cats whose influence do you see the direct link from and why?

Poll result (8 votes)
Bobby Brown (7 votes)Vote
Usher (1 votes)Vote
a draw (0 votes)Vote
never thought about it, good question (0 votes)Vote

Difference is, Bobby created more of his own lane, and MJ was still thriving when Bobby was poppin. While Usher thrived as MJ had basically taken a break. So anybody influenced by Usher was really influenced by MJ moreso. While with Bobby, some "bad boy" type artists kind of followed his path. Meaning...even if Usher influenced more artists, MJ gets the direct credit for it.

and also keep in mind their music approach lyrically was more risky and also they were Black Pop Superstars with more lyrical content and were more influenced with Hip Hop as a Hybrid and the way they make music is different.

i think this thread could get some interesting discussion because Bobby is a cat who had a chance and Usher has a career that is solid and it makes a interesting debate.
