"how you gonna mess up the lyrics on a studio-recorded cover song?"


  

          

i'm convinced Trina Broussard sings 'Do you wanna RIDE inside my love' on her cover of Minnie's 'Inside My Love'. ain't the actual lyric 'Do you wanna RUN inside my love'? shouldn't Trina have known that?

have you noticed similar flubs on other cover songs? why does this ever happen?

Opening up for this funk jazz band. So for their encore they were planning to do Stevie's "As" and hoping the crowd would get into it. So they printed out lyrics and handed them out to folk. Why the lyrics was some ol internet wrong shit though. And so everyone was singing the wrong shit.

also only music geeks trip over it. the general public don't care.

when Michael Jackson had his 30 year party at msg, mj and the jackson brothers were doing the motown medley and when they did "abc" randy sang you done with "opp" and MJ gave Randy that look a Pimp gives his trick for talking back or being short.

james ingram did that with his greatest hits album.he hated Quincy jones's arrangements,etc... and flipped them. i will only answer about james ingram and quincy jones in a in box
