maybe i haven't heard many legends speak recently, but regardless, nas really seems like one of rap's most respectable 'elder statesmen". he always expresses a balanced perspective on the young bloods, and recognizes/acknowledges his own faults on the way to where he stands now. oh, and he still rips mics/writes like very few have been able to.
