He actually just played a show here with ?uestlove in June though. It was so dope. I was surprised he was coming back so soon. But I figure it's a pre-album tour as the show with ?uest was a "Brothers in Arms" show.

This trip cost some cash money, and time off(taking off on a Friday). Now, I have to find something else to do. And i've never been to San Diego.

I'm flying in from Seattle. The trip there/back are gonna be long ones(layover stops to freaking Phoneix before I even enter San Diego. Don't ask me why, that's the way American Airways has it planned out). At least I got window seats lol !!! Thanks for the suggestions.
R&B singer D'Angelo has canceled his scheduled appearance at Outside Lands this weekend "due to a medical emergency," festival representatives announced this morning.
Instead, CHIC -- the funk-disco vehicle of guitarist and recent Daft Punk collaborator Nile Rodgers -- will perform at 6:05 p.m. Friday on the Sutro stage.
"We hope that D'Angelo has a speedy recovery, and we are grateful to Nile Rodgers and CHIC for stepping in at this late hour," says Allen Scott of Another Planet Entertainment. "CHIC is still one of the greatest live bands around and I can guarantee that they are going to bring the party to Outside Lands on Friday."
