I have to admit that many were already digging production and remixes from Premier but when "Come Clean" dropped it basically went left field with it and had people heads blown and the sugar on top was how Jeru was flowing over that beat.
What's ill about Jeru's lyrics is how each line could stand on it's own, and even be used as a chorus; it's like he only used the correct amount of words, no extra filler phrases.
Also didn't Premier say years ago that the "Come Clean" beat was originally made for an radio ad on Hot97 and when Jeru heard the beat he asked for it?
