I can avoid drug use, but I've been through family members shitting on accomplishments. I couldn't swing on JB like I could with them, lol.

JB is on soem straight bizness mess docking people for messing up cues... but George seem like he would be so much fun to wild out with..

You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Wasn't one of the reasons so many musicians gradually jumped ship from JB to George that the latters projects, tours etc. were just more FUN?

Sure, getting paid in drugs and all the fucked up shit that some musicians have talked about regarding P-funk is not cool but still, it must have been one hell of a trip while it lasted that I doubt many of the musicians (well, the ones that are still alive) would have wanted to be without.

As for JB, playing with him and helping him shape his sound must have been an incredible experience too but still; too many negatives based on what I read- Does ANONE ahve something good to say about the experience beyond the undeniable quality of the music and the sheer "learning"/experience-thing?

honestly what else is there? The members of James Brown's band were part of something incredible.... they worked with as impactful an artist as there has ever been..... That's pretty good.lol.

i love James Brown, however James Brown loved himself even more and there is no room in his mirror and window for you.

bottom line though while he was a taskmaster, he also would jack you and might not reward you and or get on that insecure tip. George Clinton never hid the fact he was colaborating with you.

I'd probably have more fun with George, but end up broke.

Since I'm 'bout my money, I'd go with James in retrospect.

On second thought, it was easier to go from PFunk to being a solo star, because
with George everybody had "A LITTLE LIGHT UNDER THE SUN" so I'd probably
roll with them.

Clinton and them were getting things done and those cats are among some of my favorite artists and groups but as for a work environment, I need structure and organization which James was all about.

I would've rolled with James Brown, did really well and then bounced and went off to work with other artists, like how Maceo has done.
