who ain't counted in 15 years. the last time i heard about Beck was that he was drunk doing a cover of R.Kelly's "Bump and Grind".

anyway of the two i guess Beck gets it, however they ain't saying a whole lot.

admittedly, his last couple of albums have been forgettable - but guero (2005) was great - and sea change (2002) was fantastic.

beck's not really in your lane, though.

^^ He's actually out-rhyming cats who do it for a living in the same era right there.

And this one too...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOYGqe-jpQY

I could post other songs...

Beck is very underrated as a rapper.

Prince isn't rated at all, for a reason.
"Days of Wild" is my "favorite" song where Prince raps. By "favorite", I mean it's
the only one I think is pretty dope outside of "My Name Is Prince" and "Pussy Control".
He did a good Sir-Mix-A-Lot impression on Face Down tho... but it was 1996.
Prince always raps like a rapper from 1979 who never evolved.

Same rap style even now tho.

But I overlooked one... "Race" from the Come album. He actually upgraded
his rhyme style from early 80s to late 80s there, lol.

IB was dope. Not good enough to get the taste of Dead On It outta my mouth, but made me think twice about prince's horribleness as a rapper.

forays.
Anytime someone mentions ribs, I think of that whole sequence about the rip
when she sat down.
On a related note, I also find his verse on New Power Soul where he was
name-dropping the songs of the album to be highly memorable.
Ok, so I dig a few Prince raps!
U got me. I was thinking more along the lines of complete rap songs than
the ones where he drops a verse, but yea.

Beck still a better rapper tho, lol... by far. Prince has never dropped a verse
as hot as the 2nd verse of Hollywood Freaks. Beck spits with wordplay, similes,
etc. Dude has skill whereas Prince just rhymes words for the most part.
It's almost like comparing Big Bank Hank to AZ if they rhymed in the same era.
