"Washington D.C.-What to do..."


  

          

beyond the typical? Going to DC in July, any suggestions of what club nights/venues to check out that spin that goodness? Bars? Concerts? Shows? Theatre?...The only thing I have found that looks like a possibility is the Chrissete Michelle show on the 11th of July...let me know...just looking for a little help...

Also, when you get here, grab a copy of the Washington City Paper (free paper, newstands all over, but particularly near subway stops). Lots of local venues take out ads with their performance calendars listed, usually laid out months in advance.

for the Reader's Choice Awards along with best wings, best place to eat at the bar, best neighborhood bar.

It's also got a nice, eclectic old-school jukebox that's *free*.
