"The Lonely Island - The Wack Album"

Jorma right, they got the frap (fake rap) game on lock...fucka Riff Raff & Lil B.

Anyway, I haven't heard the entire thing yet...just the stuff they released on Wack Wednesdays. "Spring Break Anthem," "Spell it Out" & "Diaper Money" are great musically & hilarious tho.

Those that have heard it...fav tracks?? how does it compare to incredibad & turtleneck & chain??

Prince Paul did all that shit before, but he did it better.
They were okay on SNL, but it got old.
Their humor feels like pandering.
Like I said, any album from Prince Paul is way much smarter and funnier (even after repeat listens).

Yeah, "Spell It Out" is hilarious with a very dope beat. Once I found out what Samberg was spelling it out. I laugh and said the same thing Jorm said in the end of the video. lol

"I Run NY" and "Go Kindergarden" are probably my two favorite cuts on here.

Even the songs we've seen on SNL are better without the video component.

I wish some rappers would listen to this and study the pacing of the music and lyrics. I like fast rap.

And as a comedy record it holds up pretty well too.

Some of the songs sound like they're from an lost Ugly Duckling record to me. And a few sound like they've listened to Paul Barman more than they should have. And Spell It Out brings to mind K-Solo's Letterman.

This was much better than Incredibad and Chain and Turtleneck, IMHO.

I liek this record.

Their respect for hip-hop is clearer than the music suggests.

...on their albums. I could see it coming that they'd been heads for a while.

It is almost a different experience listening than watching the videos. I think diaper money is my favorite, right now.
