research says: holy shit, it's Delaney Bramlett, apparently part of the Shindig! house band. Still, that's some fantastic hair.

I was going to say, I thought Wolf's bassist at that point was Jerome Arnold.


It's kinda sad to me though that even in a documentary on the guy, the fact that the Rolling Stones dug him plays so prominently.
