been waitin for this for a shit long time! definitely some great tunes on it, highlights for me were - cold earth, sick times, palace posy - amazing vocal sample! ... the end of the albums really good on first listen, think the 1st few tracks will need to grow on me, when i first heard boards of canada i was like what the fuck is this... now they're my fav ever

reminded me a lot of their Music Has... sound, which I really haven't heard anyone gun for hard in the decade since so I'm totally down with them going back to the old ideas with some new tricks.

However, my issue is this album has too many silent/interlude moments. There were times where I played this and I thought the music ended. Nope! 7 more tracks to go. The music was just too low or there was just silence within the album. The loud noise of the bustling NYC doesnt help either. This is something you should play in a serene location.

Regardless, if youre a fan of their past work you should like this; theres a lot of gems!

it's basically Music Has the Right... Part 2 to me, but that's all I ever wanted in the first place, to be honest.

I like how they mesh somber melodies with exciting drums.
