In 1974, Richard Pryor's third album "That Nigger's Crazy" was number one on the soul/R&B charts for four weeks. Writer Michael A. Gonzales on Richard Pryor and his groundbreaking disc.

Siiiiiiiiiiiick

I've got a load of old Pryor albums.... my dad gave me "Is It Something I Said" when I was ten. Amazing comedian - one of my favourite ever.

anyway Pryor like muhammad Ali are two of the greatest non singing voices in black history period.


i loved pryor, he is the king of comedy imo

yeah in the box set they had it crossed out and replaced title. bicentenial didn't get touched.

when this box set dropped the PC police was on its wave and also Pryor long ago dis-owned the word and saying it.
