Yeah, we know everyone is tuned into the Kanye show right now, but Treach quietly (well, not really) dropped a bomb regarding Naughty By Nature's future. Not too long ago, he revealed that Vin Rock had been given the boot from the group:

Naughty By Nature is in the midst of a tour commemorating the 20th anniversary of 19 Naughty III and "Hip Hop Hooray," and Treach just tweeted about a pre-Cinco de Mayo performance in Miami over the weekend. Earlier today, Vinnie posted the not-so-crypric message above to Instagram that indeed seems to indicate a departure of some sort. It was all good just a few days ago�for the love of God, what the hell happened?

In February, we talked to Treach about a previous break the group took before reuniting after the 2008 VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, and he acknowledged that sometimes, groups need a period of separation just to keep their sanity. Fans are now left to wonder what happened to push tensions to the max within the iconic group. Either way you slice it, Naughty By Nature is one of hip-hop's most important groups.

Say it ain't so, guys.

When Kay-Gee left the group basically NBN was over especially since Treach never did a solo album to prove or keep the momentum going but when Treach & Vinnie did an NBN album without Kay Gee (the album wasn't good), years later Kay Gee comes back they did an album a few years ago (which was good), now Vinnie leaves, oh well.

Naughty went from 95 to 99 without dropping an album, which was a lifetime in hip hop years back then.

They did a few songs for soundtracks and Treach had a few features, but beyond that......what was he doing all those years?

Probably touring and doing features like you mentioned.

I talked to him for a bit back in 2005-06 sometime and he said that he was working on his solo album at that time. Flash forward to today, as far as I know, he has still yet to release anything solo.

so, he could have been working on a joint back then too and just never got it done and released.

just my guess.

yeah those 3 cats got good individual talent however they had a formula that was cool and i liked them and yet they never got beyond to another level.
