Thanks for the link. I had no clue Full Circle dropped ten years ago. I was certain it dropped much sooner than that. Remarkable Hiero has been doing it for so long.

This is very very solid. This wasn't on my radar mainly because I had no clue who the Sleeprockers were. I am certain I will try to cop this though; hopefully distribution is good enough so that I can cop this at a brick and mortar store tomorrow. Based on my quick listen just now, sounds as if Tajai is the MVP of that release. Del sounds a lot better compared to his recent output though.

Being up front I was skeptical about a new album based on if they were going to go a new direction, the times you know. I have been playing this nonstop and it is a dope Hiero album that I needed man. Heiro collaborating with the Sleeprockers was a sick look. Been a fan of Sleeprockers for a min ever since I found one of the dj's to be part of the Live Manikins group which I am a fan of. Both teams hold there own and when they did this project, easily a top album personally for me in 2013.

I currently have that track on repeat. I hope the crew goes on a decent tour for this album because I have a feeling this album will get slept on if they don't. Very very solid release. This almost rivals Third Eye Vision IMO.

I'll go there and say that this album is on par with Third Eye Vision. Opio did his fucking thing on the production tip with this album; he did 8 beats for the album, including Indonesia. And I'm not sure it's because I've slept on him in the past, but Tajai surprised me how well he consistently flows on this as well. I'm certain this album will get slept on given how solid it is, which is a shame.
At the moment, I've had It's Partly Me on repeat for the majority of the day.
But I started playing this album again after seeing it on my hard drive and it holds up very well. Flows quite nicely and the cuts from that DJ crew add some extra life to some of the tracks. Crazy to think of how old this album is.

There's a couple of reasons why I'm wondering why's that's the case: 1) he feel DEEP into that literal hieroglyphics study he was into years ago and I think he even incorporated that into some of his raps, so I wonder if folks not feeling that is part of the reason he is 'bored with rap' and 2) I have a feeling those dudes are independently wealthy at this point, so I have a feeling he might not be struggling too much to feel the deep hunger to rhyme anymore. In any event, it's pretty sad dude isn't going to rhyme any more because he is one of the better rhymers out there when he's on point. I'd love to hear him with either Freddie Gibbs or Conway The Machine collaborate. When he was alive, Sean Price said he was interested in working with Casual, just imagine the bars on that project.

I follow him on IG and usually his posts are about his solo adventures trekking around in his RV doing his outdoorsmen thing. I feel that Heiro did the right things to live life independently and what he chooses to showcase suggest that he is enjoying those freedoms.
