Because other than that, his voice really isn't all that in my opinion. But on those two records he sounds like he got it right.

first one that come to mind for me are Adore and For you, and i think the screaming on beautiful ones is awesome, as a matter of fact prince is the greatest screamer of all time! but i agree with the ones on your list.

the screaming?? lolol.

I mean it makes the song definitively Prince..

a great performance.... and one that's actually hard to match what he did in the studio, live..because of the screaming...but when he does..it's great...

I'd also add Joy in Repition and Something in the water...
