I liked it at first but was kinda disappointed (And I like every album & sideproject that Blu has done) but it's turned into a personal classic imo. Such a great Sunday chillin album
Even if I don't love the work I always appreciate they're trying to do something new and progress creatively. Ppl complain that Blu never lived up to his Below The Heavens hype but I think he blew past any expectations I had for him. Not many rappers have sonically covered as much ground as he has in his still short career
...lol...come on big bro, gotta switch it up some times, cat ain't spittin though?...it's all love, you know I got them gun clappa joints lined up for you...Peace!

"Like Below The Heavens it's hard to tell what's better the lyrics or the production"....which makes for a great product...rarely do I cop something that is not nice front to back...the project is solid front to back, with 6-8 BANGERS in the mix....One...

Below the Heavens had some REALLY high highs, but Give Me All My Flowers is a fuckin beast album and O Heaven is better than any song on BTH with the exception of So(ul) Amazing.

to Blu & Exile. I stumbled upon the video on youtube while watching something else at the beginning of 2008 (5 fucking years ago...jesus), and for some reason just clicked the link on the right to Blu & Exile on a whim. Glad I did. What a fucking album Below the Heavens is. Spent months searching for it in CD stores and finally gave up.
I'll never forget coming across that on youtube. Loved the beat. Loved the rhymes. Loved that Blu had a Common thing going on in his rhymes and the stories he told. Everything.

Apparently yall had discussed it a long time ago, but I missed the post. I stumbled upon "Maybe One Day" and then realized there was another album. I quickly went to Spotify and there it was. Been bumpin it ever since.

My laptop has been fucked up for months (including speakers that no longer work) so I've been way behind on getting new music I'd normally have by now cause it just ain't worth trying. My comp will shut down when I try and download albums and shit. It's obnoxious. So once I get the new laptop I'm in the market for, this will be one of the first albums I snag.
