So this past WED. I got hacked by a group (or person) who call(s) themselves “42Ghosts”. Apparently it happened for a few hours, and they made multiple tweets. I found out about it by multiple people texting me, saying “dude, I think you got hacked”. Of course I immediately jumped on the computer to resolve the situation, and went on to do some research on these f*cks. Thankfully, they didn’t change any of my passwords or alter any of my personal information (which i’ve since changed, obviously).
Here’s where It got weird.
I received an email later that evening, basically saying that they (42 Ghosts) gained access and stole ALL of my Blap Kits . They also stole some “goodies”, and included this link:
The link takes me to a soundcloud page, with an EP of Skyzoo remixes (acapellas that are DEFINITELY not available anywhere. “Speakers On Blast” being one of them).
As i’m listening and knodding my head, my mind is somewhere between pissed as f*ck, and intrigued as hell.
These dudes successfully hacked my sh*t, stole some stuff, and made a remix EP with stolen BLAP KITS and Skyzoo acapellas out of it all. That was the motive. To create music. Music that apparently inspired them enough to go out of their way to accomplish what they wanted to. At this point, I’m more intrigued than mad. Thus, the reason for this blog post.
This is by far one of the most bizarre things that’s ever happened to me. But this “42Ghosts” EP is the SHIT!
I wonder who these guys are. Whoever they are, I need to get a hold of them.
