"who was the last Jazz cat you thought was going to blow up?"


          

it could be anybody that you heard or felt was on that groove and you thought they were going to be legendary one day and for whatever reason it didn't.

i thought Russsell Gunn was going to be bigger however it didn't happen that way.

who you got?

She's a french vocalist, beautiful voice, otherworldly scatt skills. I used to go see her sing in Paris, she moved out to NYC and I thought she would be big by then but I guess she still has the time to success.

Glasper of course..

I'm a big Saunders Sermons fan also...he's a very versatile dude vocally and as a trombone player..... Jeff Bradshaw also..

and of course Mario Biondi is one of my favorites also.

lot of Jazz artists are doing well right now...selling records..touring..

I did answer the question... There aren't any that I thought would blow up and didn't because the Jazz artists that I dig are doing well all over the world..
