This was one of the first true 'acid-rap' albums, I'm not even sure nearly two decades later whether there's enough examples to make up a respectable sub-genre but this was the benchmark.
When I later heard/read Red talk about what type of shit he was on during the course of this album's recording, it just confirmed what I deep down already knew back then while on some of the same shit listening to this album in 95.
You had to be out there yourself to really get it I never saw the problem with the record until I was away from that type of recreation lol Sill my fav though
