Actually didn't sound too bad - they're all pros, I bet it will come together just fine. Makes me more interested in that costello/roots collab that was spoken on a month or two ago...

Esp. this tune - the vocals have a very weird tonal thing going on, that sort of thing that P likes a lot - where the melody and the harmony seem to merge and intersect at times, so it becomes difficult to determine which is which

Great effect, hard to duplicate convincingly

both of your suggestions are great - I'd be esp. interested in hearing them do When You Were Mine - that would really fit Costello's general style
