"Biggest gap between one song/performance and rest of the discography"
Who has this category on lock?
Was thinking about this because of a brief, low-content thing about Tyler on Grantland today. I'm not exactly an OF detractor but suffice to say, I don't have much use for 'em. But I think that "Sandwitches" performance on Fallon that really set things on fire for them is so far above anything else Tyler has done that it's almost depressing. Every single time I stumble across that clip I get a charge from it; it makes me think, "Oh shit, maybe Odd Future is really good and I've been completely ignoring it." Then I go listen to a few more tracks and nnnnnnoooooope. Still doesn't work for me at all. Maybe they should do a live album with The Roots.
There's gotta be plenty of artists, too, that had one great single and then a bunch of junk otherwise.
He was featured on a couple of Spike Lee soundtracks, and had some buzz after remaking "People Make The World Go Round". Based on those songs I thought he might be the second coming of Donny Hathaway, but much to my disappointment his album was pretty much cookie cutter R&B trash.
Her career since then has been kind of a fun train wreck. Not any actual good music, though it's so bizarre at times that I enjoy listening to it and making fun of it.

And he's made it pretty clear that a part of his artistry is his ability to stay on the charts while subvervisely offering up the most chart-unfriendly content imaginable. Just one of the things that makes him a living legend.

They basically stole the 'WU....TANG' chant and changed it to 'WOLF....GANG'. I'd be interested in a better explanation of what makes that appearance impressive in the first place.
