I didn't even know who he was and I had never listened to any of his music before. The first part was some kind of weak indie rock band and I was one of the 3 black people in the audience so I was kind of worried at the begining but it was really good. Dude is not a powerful singer nor some keyboard virtuoso but overall he put out a great show. Not too long not too montonous. Some of the tunes were really sick, especially those house/funk type of songs, they were so good that even the old people found their groove back.

I have the feeling most of those songs are way better live though and Im afraid of listening to the studio versions. Something tell me, its going to lack energy.
