but for real though, these GKMC videos have been disappointing to say the least

trying to think of a counter example.. but there's none that come to mind
when music videos were at their height of popularity it seems like the thing to do was choose the hottest video director at the time and let um go to work for you
now, I couldn't even name drop a popular video director still working.
