It's cool if it was back then but kats trying to make new disco tunes is just bad in my opinion, cause they never seem to make it sound good, they all seem to just emulate the cheesy pop disco that everyone heard not the underground disco that was good.
I rather hear classic house from the early 90's than new disco.

goldfrapp's last album, 'head first,' was a little *too* disco for my liking, and i enjoy disco... it was just a mixed bag for me after what i consider 4 really strong studio albums, but i think it was a conscious tribute to disco days gone by

to me...and I've said this for years.... the new soul/r&b/funk type of music that is in that tradition of 70's disco funk and soul is some of the best music being made today....and it's producers ...imo....are some of the best in the game.
