Or, that you just had no kind of idea was a sample/interpolation until later...whether later was a few weeks, months, or even 5-10 years.

The mos recent one that threw me off was SWV's "Rain"...mainly because they got it from that Jaco track...I would have never caught that part and thought it could be turned into a song, especially a smooth R&B track.

it's amazing how many samples are from great songs

the Isaac Hayes are some of my favorites

Hyperbolicsyllabicsesquedalymistic is a good one too
