Just think of all the classic albums that had some classic intros before songs aka interludes, De La Soul & Wu-Tang was known for having some good ones.

Was they followed up the intro with some random, 30-second "Free Chilly" track with some girl singing the same 10 words a few times. Then on track 3 the album finally starts.
i dunno about the daisy age since i prefer de la is dead and buhloone over their first album personally, but i think i just wouldve liked the native tongues to stay together longer and release more shit. obviously their sound would naturally evolve.
