I wouldn't mind them locking in on a few more joints. Two of my favorite flows in rap today. _________________________________________ The Combat Jack Show is the best hip-hop related internet radio show http://thecombatjackshow.com/

His resurgence since that Vatican Mixtape pre-OB4CL2 up through now, he hasn't made a single misstep (unless you count that rushed-Wu-Massacre but that I don't really put on Rae).
People stay mentioning Ghost from 2000 or so but Rae's been the best Wu MC for the past five years.
Meth's been nasty on all his features too but he still needs to really bring it for a solo album to get in the discussion with Rae.

Just re-listened to all his work from the past three years or so
He might be one of my current favorite rappers, and dare I say it, I like him as an MC now more than 15 years ago (which is almost impossible to admit, given all the nostalgia)
Strangely, I think old man cocaine/crack rap actually ages well, because he now raps like he's reflecting on somevshit (good and bad times) rather than rapping like he's currently hustling/glorifying it exclusively. His new take is mad introspective and his FLOW is TOP NOTCH
Plus, because the crack epidemic is now over, we rely on rappers like Rae to tell those stories...the bohoes would call him an urban griot or some shit. Times really have changed....Rae's shit actually tells a relevant crime story

Rae drops some jewels about his process & career in this new Combat Jack interview here if you didn't see it in that other post (interview starts at about 29:15):

17. "He Also Needs To Step Up His Drum Game" In response to Reply # 11
Not saying that every beat has to knock but you can tell when a beat needs it to knock and the drums fall flat and S.S. always has weak drums unless it's a loud kick & snare or a plain 808 he uses to compensate.

Im liking this more than his last solo album. Faith Evans track aside I can play this all the way though. But, really, why do people still do songs with Maino?
15. "Weird how you didn't make liking it the focus of your post" In response to Reply # 14

So, you liked it, but decided to focus your post on bitching about Maino
