"Smokey Robinson, 'Baby Come Close' appreciation."

'Baby Come Close' is a perfect Slow Jam and just might be my favorite overall. At least today. I can barely keep my panties on when I hear it.

this isn't a 'slow jam,' necessarily,
but it's a great smokey robinson vocal performance, nevertheless.

might as well leave this hear, since we're appreciating smokey.

maybe that's what i meant.
like if i was still making mix cd's for people,
i wouldn't put it on a mix cd unless
that person was into old sounding music.

it's different from songs like frankie beverly slow jams.
or even prince slow jams. it would sound out of place next to
teena and rick's "fire and desire."

i don't quite know what i'm trying to say.

Lol. It's called the 'Old School Remix' which serves your point.

And it fits well with the Isley Brothers' 'Sensuality'.

And Maxwell's 'Fortunate'.

And Prince's 'Adore', which he intended to sound like a classic Slow Jam.

So, I dunno. Lol

fuck you.

This song should be used to cultivate groping worldwide. I BE sliding this song into my 'go ahead and get naked' mixes. This and Sensuality back to back...yeah...good times...

I wish stuff like this got thrown on 12:46 at clubs.

This also hasn't been run into the ground like Quiet Storm.
