Source material... some like 7-8 min songs with some guitar in it. And lots of different sections to work with. We've been souled out with these and id like to get some different textures personally. But its always dope too when u have to really challenge yourself to flip a difficult joint too and use your creativity.
If we get the same participation we had last time,plus got some mcs (Conscious, where u at botha?) To come thru and kick a verse on a few beats as well, I feel like it'd be a real good look for the lesson as a whole entity.
I would like to see us unify as a unit collectively in 2013. Two heads are better than one. Three heads are better than two, etc. There is too much real talent and real potential on these boards right now to not be building. Fuck the hate, fuck the 'being clicked up' bullshit. Come thru man. Just cause u mightve worked with so and so or done such and such, fuck that. This is the home team. Let's make magic this year. Let's unify. Let's build. Let's help each other grow and cultivate some of this talent and culture. Let's build this bitch back up.. This is an important year for the home team. I feel like we can do something, somehow, that is unique, different, and could potentially be special (or at least capture a few of those special moments). When u add em up at the end of the day, I made personal improvements and strides and showed growth last year. (Personal assessment). But id like to be a part of building something with the home team. That's us. Right here.
I don't think it works without more support & unity tho. And I do think its important for the handful of artists who originally came up outta the lesson to come back thru and participate and work with some of us who are making a little noise in here currently. Get down with some of these little projects and the beats and/or rhymes. I mean fuckit. Why not? Come thru & show a little love. As hungry & as raw as u were back when u was really really trying to get it in? And doing some aiight shit? Its some of us in here who got that taste in the back of our throats right now. Same way u had it.
Man, if y'all know anything about me u know I've always been open , I've always reached out, always extended an opportunity to any and every body, and I've always been down. I just wish this bitch was a bit more open and ... I don't know the word I'm looking for.
