but cinematic to work in others. Too bad he didn't cut the Rick Ross or the 2pac songs too since they didn't suit the film either

I didn't mind the Pac joint so much since the scene was energetic, and it fit a bit better.

music's always big in QT's movies but this was flawed execution IMO. It was my biggest gripe with the movie truthfully. He doesn't always have to be as clever as he was with Reservoir Dogs but...man. Those cuts just come in and out all willy nilly throughout the movie. It's jarring.
